Subscription terms and conditions

Subscriptions consist of the magazine being delivered to your home or device every issue, as well as additional subscriber-only benefits. We offer Print & Digital subscriptions on Classic Pop, Vegan Food & Living and Women's Running magazines. We offer Print Only subscriptions on Colouring Heaven, Italia! and Vintage Rock magazines. We offer Digital Only subscriptions on Classic Pop, Italia!, Vegan Food & Living and Women's Running magazines.

If you are a current member you can view information about your subscription, including all benefits and how to redeem them, by logging into your account here:

Please note that subscriber benefits may be subject to change. Subscriber magazine discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. These discounts are not valid on Direct Debit or Continuous credit card orders.

Trial Offers

Trial offers are Direct Debit or continuous card payment offers that hold no obligation. If you wish to cancel, please inform us within 14 days of receiving your final trial issue and no more payments will be taken. Please note, trial subscription offers are limited to one trial per title per customer within a 12-month period, and Anthem reserves the right to withdraw a limited offer at any time.

Offers with a free gift

Occasionally, we offer a free gift with a subscription. If you subscribe on a valid offer, the free gift will be sent out once payment has been taken, and you should receive it within 2 weeks of ordering. This will be sent separately from the magazine, and in some cases you might receive the magazine first. All gift offers are subject to availability and if stocks run out, an alternative gift may be supplied. Limited gift offers may be withdrawn at any time. If you are purchasing a subscription for someone else, the free gift will be sent to the person paying for the subscription. Free gift offers are only valid on UK orders and cannot be refunded.

Using Our Continuous Payment Authority

Setting up recurring payments

By purchasing a Continuous Payment Authority (CPA) subscription you acknowledge that this has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive periods for an indefinite time until cancelled by you or us. The initial payment will be deducted from your specified account, we will then deduct subsequent payments as indicated in your notification communication (i.e. Monthly, Quarterly, Annually). Where the collection due date is not a business day, we will make the collection on the next business day.

Recurring payments will be made via your chosen credit or debit card by way of a stored credential in the form of a payment token. Tokenisation is the process of replacing sensitive card data with a string of randomly generated numbers called a “token”.  Similar to encryption, tokenisation retains all the essential information but renders it unreadable in the event of a data breach or other exposure.

Cancelling your recurring payments

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To do so, please contact our customer care team via the various methods detailed on our contact page. You must notify us at least 10 business days before the next scheduled transaction.

Updating your account information

To make any changes to your account or recurring payment information, please contact us at least 10 business days before the next scheduled transaction for the update to take effect.

If a transaction is refused by your financial institution

If your recurring payment is declined for any reason, including insufficient funds, closed account, or unauthorised account, we will contact you using the details provided when setting up the agreement and making your first payment. This communication will notify you that payment has failed and prompt you to update your details or provide an alternative payment method.

Cancellation of your subscription or membership

You can cancel your subscription at any time by using this form: shop.anthem.co.uk/contact-us. You will continue to receive the magazines you have paid for until the end of your subscription term. Direct Debit and Continuous Credit Card orders will auto-renew at the end of the current term unless cancelled. Returns are not accepted. Please note that where a gift has been sent, there is a minimum subscription/membership period of 12 months, before a subscription/membership can be cancelled. Details of this will be shown on the promotion. If a membership is cancelled the additional membership benefits will become unavailable.

Returns

Sorry, returns are not accepted on subscription or membership orders.

Refunds

You may request a refund on unmailed issues when you cancel a subscription or membership. Payment will be made back to the credit card or debit card you originally paid with, or PayPal within 10 working days of the refund request. We will send you an email to confirm that the refund has been processed.
